About The Position

The Windchill Functional Consultant works with business users, product development teams, and IT organizations to analyze business processes, gather requirements, design PLM solutions, configure Windchill modules, and support system adoption. The consultant plays a key role in digital transformation initiatives involving product data management, change management, document management, and product lifecycle processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Windchill PLM

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams.
  • Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Document functional requirements, use cases, and process flows.
  • Translate business requirements into Windchill solution designs.
  • Define lifecycle states, workflows, roles, teams, and access controls.
  • Define business rules and system preferences.
  • Analyze current PLM processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design standardized product development and engineering change processes.
  • Recommend best practices for product data governance.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate configured solutions against business requirements.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Prepare user guides and process documentation.
  • Support business adoption and change management activities.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues.
  • Work with technical teams on integrations and customizations.
  • Provide post-go-live support and enhancements.
