Windchill Middleware Developer

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Middleware Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between PTC Windchill and enterprise systems including ERP, MES, CAD, and manufacturing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windchill InfoEngine, Java APIs, middleware platforms, and PLM-to-ERP integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of PLM integration experience with PTC Windchill.
- Strong experience with InfoEngine, Windchill Java API, REST/SOAP services, and SQL.
- Experience integrating Windchill with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
- Knowledge of CAD integration patterns and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- PTC Windchill certification.
- Experience with ThingWorx, IIoT integrations, or API Management.
- Familiarity with Kafka/event-driven architectures.
- Experience deploying or supporting Windchill in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS/Cloud).
- Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, and AutoCAD.
- Develop REST/SOAP services using InfoEngine, OData, and Java APIs.
- Implement integrations using MuleSoft, Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or SAP CPI.
- Optimize integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, and support post-go-live activities.
- Collaborate with PLM, ERP, and engineering teams while maintaining technical documentation and mentoring junior developers.
