About The Position

RCL Services is seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and major component projects on utility-scale wind turbines throughout the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights up to 300 feet
Ability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions
Ability to meet site-specific physical and safety requirements
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting principles

Nice To Haves

Technicians with prior experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, or major component work on Siemens, V82, or similar utility-scale wind turbine platforms
Wind turbine maintenance and troubleshooting
Major component replacement experience
PLC, converter, and electrical diagnostics experience
Experience on utility-scale wind turbine platforms
GWO BST, BTT, ART, OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR/AED, or equivalent industry certifications
Rigging, lifting, crane/hoist, and signaling experience

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and corrective repairs
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues
Execute work in accordance with OEM procedures and safety requirements
Complete service reports, work orders, and project documentation
Support major component replacements including gearboxes, generators, main bearings, blades, yaw systems, and other drivetrain components
Travel as required to support customer projects
