About The Position

Soaring Eagle is seeking an experienced UAS Pilot to support wind turbine inspection operations throughout the United States. This assignment is based in the Houston area and offers a hybrid/remote work environment when not deployed in the field. This role offers the flexibility of a 1099 contractor position combined with the opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy projects and critical infrastructure programs across the country.

Requirements

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial UAS operating experience.
• Experience in industrial, utility, energy, construction, or infrastructure environments.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drone-based inspections of utility-scale wind turbines.
• Execute safe commercial flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Capture high-quality imagery and inspection data using enterprise drone platforms.
• Coordinate with wind farm personnel, customer representatives, and field teams.
• Serve as a professional representative of Soaring Eagle at customer locations throughout the country.
