Associate Wind Tunnel Model Design Engineer
About The Position
Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc., (AMA) is seeking to hire a Wind Tunnel Model Design Engineer to join the wind tunnel model design group at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, Virginia. The individual selected for this position will join AMA's team supporting the Research, Science and Engineering (RSES) contract. The wind tunnel design group utilizes PTC CREO 3D modeling software, so experience with CREO is a plus, but not a requirement. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn the specialty of wind tunnel design, mechanical mechanism design, and wind tunnel model stress analysis.
Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CREO 3D modeling software
- Experience with ProE/Creo software or similar 3D modeling software
- Experience with simple FEA modeling (CREO or other Finite Element Analysis software)
