The Permitting Analyst role is designed to build technical, regulatory, and project management expertise while preparing employees for future advancement within the organization. Working under the mentorship of experienced Permitting Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and other subject matter experts across AES Clean Energy, the Permitting Analyst will gain exposure to all phases of renewable energy project development. This role supports permitting, environmental review, land use entitlement activities, and agency coordination for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Environmental, Community Relations, Engineering, Construction, and Project Execution. The position offers significant opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and contribute to the successful development of renewable energy projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position may be performed remotely or from one of AES's office locations, including San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CA; Louisville, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; or other AES office locations, depending on business needs and candidate location.
