Requirements

Equipment certifications as required
A minimum of one year of related experience
Must possess valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
Strong teamwork orientation

Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment
Open to change based on diverse input and feedback

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals, and load charts

Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs
Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment

Responsibilities

Operates equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures.
Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: Blade, Dozer, Loader, Scraper, Forklift/Telehandler, Crane, Bobcat/Skid-steer, Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts, Roller.
Follows prescribed safety regulations.
Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area.
Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction.
Follows work plans and pre-task cards.
