About The Position

Mortenson is currently seeking a carpenter that will be responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principals. The Leaning Juniper 2B Repower Wind Project is located in Arlington, OR 97812.

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
• Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up trailers
• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements and measure dimensions
• Build decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, install shelves, set up tool trailers/conex’s, silt fences/straw bales, and site per erosion control plan
• Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms
• Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations
• Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials
• Concrete and rough carpentry: hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, drywall, finish carpentry (doors, frames, hardware), millwork, cabinetry
• Work effectively and build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Perform all other duties as assigned
