About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to join the Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Partnerships group, part of the WIM National Sales organization. The WIM Partnerships team connects Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) with the Commercial Bank (CB) and Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) to accelerate two-way referrals, uncover cross-LOB growth, and deepen enterprise relationships with shared clients and prospects. The team enables a seamless, compliant, and measurable cross-line-of-business (LOB) collaboration engine that strengthens client coverage, increases share of wallet, expands product penetration across the enterprise, and improves client experience through coordinated solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire
  • Meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents
  • Abide by applicable policy requirements regarding outside activities or personal investing if hired

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in strategy, business execution, consulting, finance, or business analytics within a large, complex organization
  • Working knowledge of Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, or related financial services functions
  • Exposure to referral programs, sales enablement, or business development efforts
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and translate findings into clear recommendations
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with comfort manipulating datasets and building executive‑ready and educational materials
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives, balance priorities, and execute with attention to detail
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to partner across teams and lines of business
  • Experience supporting cross‑enterprise or partnership‑driven initiatives
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving program structures
  • Project and/or Program management experience

Responsibilities

  • Support referral flow between WIM and CIB/CB
  • Assist in referral flow improvements
  • Enhance reporting
  • Identify, track and resolve escalations
  • Manage pipeline reviews
  • Identify growth opportunities for cross-LOB referrals
  • Build strategic initiatives to drive deeper enterprise relationships
  • Help build educational content for Bankers to educate them on WIM capabilities, products & services
  • Assist advisors in finding opportunities to refer clients to CB and CIB
