As a Wilderness Properties Supervisor, you will help direct and support the daily activities of Concierge staff, Rangers/Ranch Hands, Housekeeping Cabin Attendants, Wranglers/Mule Skinners, and Dinner Servers. You will work closely with each property’s General Manager, Culinary leadership, and other supervisors to ensure seamless operations, consistent service delivery, and a world-class guest experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant environment a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred in order to assist with any parking related duties
  • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

  • Help develop, lead, and mentor a team of service-oriented employees; support ongoing training initiatives with General Manager.
  • Lead, direct, train, and coach Rangers/Ranch Hands, Housekeeping Cabin Attendants, Concierge, Wranglers/Mule Skinners, and Dinner Servers.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and developing new front‑of‑house staff.
  • Reinforce Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond service and dining standards across all departments.
  • Ensure station work, side work, opening tasks, and closing checklists are completed daily.
  • Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, including required paperwork, itinerary review, and confirmation of next-day activities.
  • Perform daily guest call-outs with Concierge to confirm preferences, activities, special events, and dining needs.
  • Ensure all guest request items are delivered promptly and accurately.
  • Respond immediately to guest concerns or complaints; resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure VIPs, special guests, media, and special events are communicated to the team and properly prepared for in advance.
  • Assist with scheduling of staff, transportation schedules, and time and attendance tracking.
  • Confirm nightly guest counts for 4:00 p.m. turndown, dinner service, and following day’s breakfast and lunch.
  • Run occupancy, arrival, departure, and activity reports; distribute to General Manager and Culinary Team.
  • Coordinate with Concierge to verify dietary restrictions, special occasions, and guest preferences.
  • Oversee F&B service for Breakfast, Lunch, Social Hour, Dinner, and Overlook functions.
  • Support and lead Overlook events from start to finish: setup, banquet/meeting arrangement, AV equipment, food & beverage service, breakdown, and cleanup.
  • Maintain beverage knowledge including beer, wine, and spirits; perform basic bartending and beverage service as needed.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality guest activities including guided hiking, archery, crafts, pickleball, yoga instruction, mule rides, and other wilderness programming.
  • Assist in training staff to confidently lead or support recreational activities.
  • Coordinate transportation of guests and employees with Loss Prevention and the Parking Garage.
  • Assist with responding to guest injuries, illnesses, or emergencies in coordination with Loss Prevention and General Manager.
  • Drive golf carts and Broadmoor vehicles as needed (must meet driving requirements).
  • Facilitate daily communication regarding VIPs, special events, guest needs, staff updates, and activity schedules.
  • Manage daily counts for planning staff and employee meals.
  • Maintain strong communication with Culinary, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Recreation teams to ensure flawless execution.
  • Ensure property cleanliness and readiness across dining areas, activity areas, and guest service stations.
  • Support end‑of‑season performance reviews for front‑of‑house staff.
  • Uphold and enforce Broadmoor policies, procedures, service standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned, including assisting across Wilderness Properties based on operational needs.
