Wilderness Properties Cabin Attendant

As a member of the Wilderness Properties Housekeeping Team—serving both Cloud Camp and The Ranch at Emerald Valley—you will be responsible for the daily cleaning, organization, and upkeep of guest cabins and public areas. You will ensure that all accommodations reflect Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond standards while providing warm, attentive support to guests and fellow team members. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of guest accommodations, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Deep-clean bathroom fixtures, mirrors, floors, walls, and surfaces with appropriate solutions.
- Strip and make beds daily; replace soiled linens and towels.
- Complete turndown service as assigned.
- Complete deep-cleaning and major housecleaning tasks annually or as directed.
- Rearrange or reset cabin furniture as instructed.
- Replace, reset, and inventory cabin glassware, supplies, amenities, towels, robes, and linens.
- Replenish daily housekeeping buckets and ensure supply readiness.
- Communicate guest room status daily for each cabin serviced.
- Deliver ice, amenities, and special-request items such as microwaves, pack ’n’ plays, and additional bedding.
- Provide warm, professional, and guest-centered service consistent with Five-Star, Five-Diamond expectations.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Cloud Camp, Emerald Valley Ranch, Cheyenne Mountain Lodge, The Broadmoor, and Colorado history to engage with guests.
- Report maintenance issues promptly and accurately.
- Turn in lost and found items according to Broadmoor procedures.
- Ensure trash, soiled linen, and used dishware are taken to designated areas.
- Support cleanliness of public spaces including walkways, decks, patios, gazebos, hot tubs, and activity areas.
- Assist with loading/unloading supplies and linen from delivery trucks.
- Participate in ordering, stocking, and organizing housekeeping supplies and storage areas.
- Maintain neat and orderly closets, storage rooms, and housekeeping workspaces.
- Assist Housekeeping Supervisors, Ranch Managers, Cabin Attendants, Rangers, Ranch Hands, and other team members as needed.
- Provide support across both Wilderness Properties based on occupancy, operational needs, and scheduling.
- Uphold all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned to support Cloud Camp and Emerald Valley Ranch operations.
