As a Server at our Wilderness Properties—Cloud Camp or The Ranch at Emerald Valley—you will play a vital role in delivering warm, attentive, and personalized dining service throughout each guest’s stay. From greeting guests and presenting menus to anticipating needs and creating memorable moments, you will ensure every interaction reflects our Forbes Five‑Star and AAA Five Diamond service standards. This position is essential in supporting a seamless, refined, and elevated dining experience from arrival through departure. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant environment a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 5 star and 5 diamond standards while offering above and beyond service for all guests.
  • Perform table set up, replenish and clean up before, during and/or after the guest’s meal.
  • Replenish snacks and bar stock.
  • Answer menu questions and makes suggestions regarding food and beverage service.
  • Ability to act as bartender and mix ingredients to prepare beverages to guest satisfaction.
  • Serve and is knowledgeable about a variety of wines, beers and cocktails.
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of guest(s) diet restrictions and food allergies.
  • Maintain accurate communication with kitchen staff regarding orders, times, guest needs, etc. in order to provide efficient service.
  • Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
  • Buss and carry used tableware to kitchen area.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures as directed.
  • Complete daily and weekly side-work.
  • Follow Wilderness properties safety and hygiene standards.
  • Follow all directions received from General Manager.
  • Report tips as required by the IRS.
  • Abide by and maintain up to date knowledge of Colorado liquor laws.
  • Assist other dining room staff and all other staff as needed.
  • Utilize the Point of Sales system proficiently.
  • Assist in Culinary and Stewarding as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned and help with any other duties at Cloud Camp needed and necessary.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
