About The Position

Experienced WiFi Antenna Testing engineer needed for a 12+ month contract role in Irvine, CA. This is an onsite position requiring significant hands-on experience in WiFi, Antenna, EMC, Environmental, and NFC design for compliance. The role involves running EMI and immunity tests, troubleshooting, and understanding LVD, RED, and EMCD regulations. Experience with RTCA DO-160G EMI, environmental testing, and product qualification/approval for avionics radio products is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience in WiFi, Antenna, EMC, Environmental, NFC design for compliance
• Experience in running EMI and immunity tests and troubleshooting
• Experience with LVD (Low Voltage Directive), RED (Radio Eqpt. Directive), and EMCD (Electro Magnetic Compatiility Directive)
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar technical discipline

Nice To Haves

• Experience in RTCA DO-160G EMI, Environmental testing, product qualification and approval process of avionics radio products
