About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Guillotine Cutter to join our production team. In this role, you will set up and operate production equipment, monitor quality, and help keep jobs moving safely and efficiently through the manufacturing process. Requirements

Ability to set and adjust equipment to required tolerances
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate printing and production equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to support reliable operation
Prepare inks for proper color and consistency
Verify paper type, size, color, and quantity
Check plates and job materials for accuracy
Inspect products throughout the production run to ensure quality standards are met
Work with the production team to prioritize jobs and adjust workflow as needed to meet deadlines
Follow all safety requirements for the job and equipment
