Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social, behavioral, or biological sciences or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in dietetics, human nutrition, food & nutrition, nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program.
  • Must have at minimum 18 hours in Nutrition Education from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, promotes, maintains, and improves individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviors.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify community needs prior to planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, policies and environments.
