We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in device testing, wireless networking, and broadband technologies. This role focuses on delivering high-quality user experience validation for gateways, Wi-Fi extenders, and home networking devices. You will play a key role in ensuring product reliability, performance, and interoperability while driving automation and continuous improvement in testing processes.

Requirements

5–8 years of experience in device testing, wireless networking, or broadband hardware validation.
Strong experience in Wi-Fi technologies and home networking ecosystems.
Hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks using Java, Cucumber, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, UDP).
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, firmware, and network layers.
Experience with test strategy development, automation, and CI/CD integration.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work in cross-functional environments.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience mentoring or leading junior engineers is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end user experience testing of gateways, Wi-Fi extenders, and home networking devices across functional, regression, performance, and interoperability scenarios.
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts using Java and Cucumber.
Validate Wi-Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end systems, including hardware, software, and network layers.
Execute testing for networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP, and related connectivity standards.
Drive test automation strategy and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for improved efficiency and faster releases.
Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality and stable releases.
Conduct root cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to test strategy at a product and feature level.
