We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in device testing, wireless networking, and broadband technologies. This role focuses on delivering high-quality user experience validation for gateways, Wi-Fi extenders, and home networking devices. You will play a key role in ensuring product reliability, performance, and interoperability while driving automation and continuous improvement in testing processes.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in device testing, wireless networking, or broadband hardware validation.
  • Strong experience in Wi-Fi technologies and home networking ecosystems.
  • Hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks using Java, Cucumber, or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, UDP).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, firmware, and network layers.
  • Experience with test strategy development, automation, and CI/CD integration.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work in cross-functional environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience mentoring or leading junior engineers is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end user experience testing of gateways, Wi-Fi extenders, and home networking devices across functional, regression, performance, and interoperability scenarios.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test scripts using Java and Cucumber.
  • Validate Wi-Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, mesh networking, band steering, roaming, and wireless backhaul.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues across end-to-end systems, including hardware, software, and network layers.
  • Execute testing for networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, NAT, TCP/UDP, and related connectivity standards.
  • Drive test automation strategy and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for improved efficiency and faster releases.
  • Collaborate closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality and stable releases.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to test strategy at a product and feature level.
