As part of the Wi-Fi software development team, we make decisions that influence the connectivity experience on products people use every single day, across the world. The job entails refining existing features, proactively developing new features within the Wi-Fi stack to cater to both new and existing use cases on Apple products. The role necessitates leveraging cutting-edge tools such as AI and machine learning to enhance product quality and streamline development and triage processes. The position requires leading cross-functional projects that involve collaboration with multiple external or vendor teams effectively. This role is not ideal for individuals who prefer working on independent tasks that do not require collaboration. Ownership of Wi-FI features, developing professional relationships and trust among key cross-functional stack holders, holistically looking at customer issues and figuring out smart ways of solving those problems in a large scale deployment.

Requirements

• Experience on Wireless connectivity SW development
• Exposure to interaction of L1/L2/L3, AI/ML tools
• Experience delivering SW features on large scale deployments and maintaining and polishing the developed SW over multiple years
• Experience with C/C++, Python, Data interpretation, and Telemetry
• Experience with multi-layer SW architecture on embedded platforms
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while driving multiple projects across teams
• Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
• Demonstrate curiosity, courage, innovation and discipline
• Experience with Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
• Experience on automotive and car infotainment system / Android Auto
• Experience using AI/ML to enhance product quality and streamline development and triage processes
