Requirements

  • Ability to select and unload cases of paper cups and plastic lids weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to stack and prepare stacked product for transportation.
  • Ability to perform tasks in a quick, safe, and accurate manner.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly working area.
  • Capacity to perform required physical activities such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Understanding and performance of proper lifting techniques.
  • Compliance with all safety standards, quality standards, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to report injuries and potential safety hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the warehousing and unloading of product off a conveyor system.
  • Train new employees on stacker responsibilities and safety and quality standards.
  • Perform routine tasks with detailed instruction provided.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, performing physical activities such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Complete data entry.
  • Obtain boxes of finished product from the production sortation line and stack them in an orderly manner.
  • Wrap units before they are moved to the stretch wrapper by the stacker driver.
  • Understand, perform, and promote plant and company safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure pallets are stacked correctly and that prints are not mixed.
  • Perform proper lifting techniques for safe operations.
  • Comply with all safety standards, remaining focused on safety throughout the shift and performing all work safely without shortcuts.
  • Report injuries immediately to a supervisor and any potential safety hazards observed.
  • Comply with all quality standards, producing quality product by not accepting defective material, not making defective products, not passing defects to internal customers, and by reporting potential quality issues.
  • Comply with all sanitation standards, practicing good sanitation and housekeeping to maintain the appearance and condition of the operating facility.
