About The Position
Patrick Dealer Group is hiring a dependable Automotive Wholesale Parts Driver to join our wholesale parts team. This role involves delivering automotive parts to wholesale customers, dealerships, and service centers throughout the local area. As a union position under Local 731, this role offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Must be a member of or willing to join Teamsters Local 731 Union
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in automotive parts delivery or warehouse operations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport automotive parts
- Load and unload parts using proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Verify orders and ensure accurate deliveries to wholesale clients.
- Maintain delivery logs and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Provide courteous and professional service to all customers.
- Follow all DOT regulations and Local 731 work rules.
