About The Position

Ford Turnersville has an outstanding opportunity for a Wholesale Parts Associate to join their team and the Holman Family! This role is responsible for parts retail, wholesale and internal shop (technician counter) sales. The scope includes retail accessories, such as apparel, electronic components, toys/sports products and impulse items, wholesale customer needs and shop counter needs for technicians. The associate will research and sell automotive repair related parts (hard parts), utilize the electronic parts catalogue, computer system and perform cashiering responsibilities. They will be trained in customer handling and phone etiquette, and learn proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, parts pricing and discount structure, merchandising and display creation/maintenance. The role involves developing and executing a strategy to visit wholesale customers on a regular basis and working with the Parts Manager to develop and execute a wholesale growth strategy. The associate will learn, understand, and leverage Ford’s programs and promotions, and help customers take advantage of them. They will also work with the accounting department to resolve receivable issues and perform continued site visits to key clients’ in-house garages for account management, retention and penetration. All other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • Minimum 1+ years of parts experience in selling, either automotive parts, aftermarket parts, or experience in shipping/receiving, or parts delivery

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
  • Additional education, certifications, or experience are a plus
