About The Position

At Hyperlite Mountain Gear, we design and build best-in-class technical backcountry gear for adventurers who rely on our products for success, safety, and survival. For us, better backpacking starts with gear that strikes the optimal balance of weight, durability and water resistance. We are looking for a Wholesale Fulfillment Associate to join our shipping and receiving team in Biddeford, Maine. You’ll be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping wholesale orders to our retail partners — work that requires both attention to detail and the ability to keep things moving during busy seasons. This position reports to the Wholesale Fulfillment Manager and collaborates closely with the DTC (direct-to-consumer) Fulfillment team to coordinate inventory flow. As an online retail brand, our team ships approximately 75 – 100 large orders per month with a small, focused crew — meaning every person on the floor has real ownership over throughput, quality, and our relationships with retail partners.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly — our Wholesale Fulfillment Manager will train on the specifics of retailer requirements
  • Basic computer skills — comfort with shipping software, email, and general computer use is essential to the role
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset and the ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long periods
  • Pallet jack experience
  • Flexibility to occasionally work weekends during peak seasonal and promotional periods (this is a salaried role, and weekend hours are offset with equivalent weekday time off)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify and/or ShipStation
  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Forklift certification (helpful but not required)
  • Prior shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or wholesale/B2B order processing experience

Responsibilities

  • Pick wholesale orders with strong attention to detail
  • Pack orders based on the specific shipping requests and requirements of each retail partner
  • Track order status throughout the month using Shopify
  • Maintain throughput and accuracy during launches, holiday sales, and promotional periods
  • Maintain inventory levels on shelves
  • Coordinate inventory for large wholesale orders
  • Organize inventory backstock
  • Unload pallets using a pallet jack
  • Unload inventory from pallets onto shelves
  • Inspect new product for quality and accuracy against shipping documents
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Operate pallet jacks (and/or forklifts) safely, following OSHA and company protocol

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Health & Dental Insurance
  • Deep discounts on all gear
  • Flexibility
