Dobbs Tire and Auto is seeking a Wholesale Driver. The Wholesale Driver is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely transporting customers and vehicles as needed. This role ensures company vehicles are operated in compliance with all safety procedures and maintained in clean, working condition. The Shuttle Driver also assists with daily shop and facility needs, including picking up parts, delivering tires, and handling other deliveries from vendors. Additional responsibilities include organizing tire inventory, stocking supplies, and performing routine housekeeping tasks such as cleaning restrooms, maintaining the showroom, removing snow from entryways, and emptying trash. Attention to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are essential to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Valid Drivers’ License Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently deliver parts, tires, and other automotive products to wholesale customers, vendors, and partner locations.
  • Pick-up parts, returns, and cores from customers or suppliers as directed.
  • Verify accuracy of orders before delivery and ensure all items are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles while ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns to management.
  • Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and other documentation accurately and on time.
  • Assist with organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory in the parts department or warehouse as needed.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures always.
  • Support the service and parts teams with additional tasks or errands as requested to ensure efficient shop operations.
