About The Position
South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family that bottles its own milk and makes its own butter and ice cream. They brought back the milkman in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 25 years. They are currently hiring for a Wholesale Delivery Driver. Our Delivery Drivers are self-motivated, careful route drivers, enjoy working independently, and are open to doing a wide range of tasks. This position will be cross-trained to perform other warehouse functions and will act as an all-star team player while helping out in other areas as needed.
Requirements
- Delivery experience
- Flexibility in their day-to-day
- Passionate about making sure deliveries are perfect – every time.
- A valid driver's license with no major points or accidents is required.
- A current, certified MVR will be needed.
Nice To Haves
- DOT Medical Card is a plus, however with the right candidate, we will assist in this process.
- CDL B is not needed but preferred.
Responsibilities
- Driving established wholesale delivery routes – which may include Virginia Beach and DC.
- Making accurate deliveries
- Complete other delivery tasks as needed
- Assist other departments as needed
