About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a dedicated and reliable Wholesale Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL to join our team in Greenwood, MS. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and safe delivery of tires and related products to our wholesale customers and internal locations within a 150 air mile radius. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage their time effectively while working independently. As a key member of our logistics team, you will also support warehouse operations when not actively on delivery routes, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Valid CDL with an acceptable driving record. (Class A)
Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–150 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers and coworkers.

Prior delivery or driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to complete assigned delivery routes within a 150 air mile radius.
Deliver tires and related products to wholesale customers and Southern Tire Mart locations.
Ensure the safe handling and transportation of all products.
Accurately complete and maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and related documentation.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries, representing the company professionally.
Assist with loading/unloading tires and maintaining delivery accuracy.
Support warehouse operations as needed when not on delivery routes.
