Boulevard Tire Center is growing and seeking a Manufacturing Technician for their DeLand, FL location. This role involves powder coating wheels according to customer specifications. While production experience is a plus, the company is willing to train individuals with a willingness to learn, excellent attention to detail, flexibility, and a good attendance and safety record, especially those interested in advancement.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular attendance and be at the work station on time each scheduled workday.
Place wheel on pallet for storage.
Prepare wheel/rims for refinishing by removing valve stems and wheel weights.
Place wheel in blaster, remove from blaster and transfer to powder coating booth using wheel hoist.
Spray wheel with proper color and to manufacturer specifications using a powder coating gun, ensuring safety glasses and respirator are used for protection.
Slide wheel on monorail into oven for baking (10-12 minutes).
Allow wheel to cool down on the monorail before removal.
Move cooled wheel to pallet, using gloves and stack.
Inspect, repair, and lubricate equipment following manufacturer instructions.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the plant, sweeping floors and walls as necessary.
Receive, unload, and store tires, wheels, etc., in designated places.
Comply with Company Safety Policy and follow fire prevention instructions.
Maintain a stock of repair/refurbishing materials, advising the manager when replenishment is necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
