About The Position

Dent Wizard is the nation’s undisputed leader in automotive reconditioning services and vehicle protection products. We are stable, growing, and have a strong business model with opportunities in 43 states. We repair 2.5 million vehicles every year and employ more than 3,000 highly skilled employees. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who enjoys making things look brand new, likes working with customers, being on the move, and learning multiple skills to join our growing team as a Wheel & Interior Repair Technician. You will restore both vehicle interiors and wheels to like-new condition while building strong customer relationships. Training will be provided at our training center in Charlotte, NC, which is fully paid and includes travel, food, and transportation. Training compensation will be at the hourly rate, then phased combo compensation of hourly rate and commission as you move out of training and start building your customer base. There is commission-based uncapped earning potential with long-term earning potential of $60,000-$110,000+.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for quality, craftsmanship, and safety.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your day effectively.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive-motion tasks and precision work.
  • Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, climb, and work on your feet throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Auto painting, collision repair, refinishing, or related experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations including dealerships, auctions, and other automotive partners to perform mobile repairs.
  • Repair cosmetic wheel damage including curb rash, scrapes, gouges, peeling finishes, oxidation, and bent wheels.
  • Remove tires and wheels from vehicles as needed for repair and refinishing.
  • Use sanding, grinding, painting, and refinishing techniques to restore wheels to like-new condition.
  • Repair rips, tears, burns, stains, and other cosmetic damage in vehicle interiors.
  • Mix dyes and restore leather, vinyl, and other interior surfaces to like-new condition.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, build strong customer relationships, and promote our services.
