Job Description: This job is responsible for overseeing programs and projects specific to corporate change initiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact to department managers for critical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, and negotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage resources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory and executive materials and ensuring results align to program strategy, simplification, and new capabilities. Bank of America is seeking a strategic leader to oversee and evolve the program, systems, processes, and partnerships that power the delivery of community education and career readiness workshops. This role will lead the development of scalable, data-informed operations that support the bank’s broader workforce development strategy—advancing community impact, strengthening local economies, and driving business outcomes. The Operations Strategy Manager will serve as a key architect of how the bank engages with external partners to deliver career readiness, manages workshop delivery, and leverages technology platforms to ensure seamless execution and measurable impact. This role will collaborate across teams to align education delivery with enterprise goals, streamline intake and registration systems, and enhance the customer experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in LMO, Academy, Global Community Opportunity, Talent Acquisition or program management function
  • Ability to design strategies and processes that benefit the community and drive business value for the company.
  • Strong analytical mindset

Responsibilities

  • Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reporting cadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working with key stakeholders
  • Works closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new change initiatives
  • Monitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking of program milestones and their statuses, developing program plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks, and produces program reports for managers and stakeholders
  • Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform in alignment with the program objectives
  • Works with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department, leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient and effective resolution
  • Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into project issues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships, asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes to challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations
  • Define the value proposition for Bank of America’s career readiness resources and design program execution aligned to unique value the bank can provide to communities and clients.
  • Design and implement delivery model to scale career readiness delivery through volunteers and deliver effectively to clients.
  • Optimize the end-to-end intake, registration, and measurement process for career readiness workshops, ensuring alignment with enterprise workforce development strategy.

Benefits

  • Pay range $102,000.00 - $150,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
  • Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
