About The Position

Wet End operators set up, run, and clean up singlefacers and other corrugator wet end equipment. Wet End operators report to laminator supervisors. Wet End operator’s duties/responsibilities include: following all plant safety, quality, product safety, and other rules and procedures. operating singlefacers to produce high quality and high quantity output. adjusting medium roll stand and preconditioner settings adjusting liner roll stand and preheater settings helping the dry end operator determine optimum run speeds. preparing singleface liner rolls and splicers. preparing down (but) rolls for storage and identifying these rolls with tags and/or writing. helping all other crew members as needed helping on other parts of the laminator when the machine is down. changing order run sequences to improve laminator throughout without delaying deliveries. maintaining clean and organized work areas. cleaning the singlefacer completing accurate records performing other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements

Ability to follow all plant safety, quality, product safety, and other rules and procedures.
Ability to operate singlefacers to produce high quality and high quantity output.
Ability to adjust medium roll stand and preconditioner settings.
Ability to adjust liner roll stand and preheater settings.
Ability to help the dry end operator determine optimum run speeds.
Ability to prepare singleface liner rolls and splicers.
Ability to prepare down (but) rolls for storage and identify these rolls with tags and/or writing.
Ability to help all other crew members as needed.
Ability to help on other parts of the laminator when the machine is down.
Ability to change order run sequences to improve laminator throughout without delaying deliveries.
Ability to maintain clean and organized work areas.
Ability to clean the singlefacer.
Ability to complete accurate records.
Ability to perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
