Westmount Garden Coordinator

Guelph CHCGuelph/Eramosa, ON
Onsite

About The Position

This project is in partnership with The SEED, 10C, UoG and food uniting neighbours (f.u.n.). The f.u.n. Commons Westmount Garden is located at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, on the south side of the property, on Westmount Road in Guelph, Ontario. The garden was originally established as the Guelph Youth Farm through partnership with Everdale Farm, The SEED, St. Joseph’s Health Centre and other community partners. After this, the City of Guelph in collaboration with The Art of Soil Collective established a 3-year project that supported newcomers to join local urban farming and community garden networks. Then the garden had been kept up by individuals from these and other organizations, as well as various community members, with the original infrastructure, but little to no funds. 10C Shared Space and food uniting neighbours have since taken over coordinating gardening activities and are looking for a Garden Coordinator in partnership with The SEED.
