About The Position

The primary responsibility of a server is to provide our guest with the finest food and drink that is accompanied by attentive and gracious service. An experienced server will be familiar with menus, table service, and general information about the establishment and have good sales techniques. Team members that serve in this position must have an outgoing, enthusiastic, customer service oriented nature about them. Provide top quality service to the guest, which entails proper greeting of the guest, knowing how to accommodate guest with special needs, guests who may seat themselves, service checks throughout the guest’s dining experience and proper departure of the guest.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 3 years job related experience in restaurant serving, including 6 months experience in fine dining service.
  • Must possess and maintain a New Mexico alcohol server license or be able to obtain one within one month of employment.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits.
  • Knowledge of computers in order to quickly learn and operate Agilysys POS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top quality service to the guest. That entails proper greeting of the guest, knowing how to accommodate guests with special needs, guests who may seat themselves, service checks throughout the guest's dining experience and proper departure of the guest.
  • Familiarization and compliance with server station check that involves procedural inspections and maintenance of server station.
  • Proper preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Correct transactions reflecting responsibility.
  • Familiarization and compliance of job tasks specific for a Fine Dining Restaurant.
  • Upkeep of uniform issued to you, as well as your footwear that will have safety soles.
  • Constant communication with team members.
  • Practice kitchen safety and food sanitation, as well as observing and obeying all safety rules.
  • Tum in any lost items to Restaurant Manager and/or Supervisor.
  • Is able to fill in as a bus person, greeter and / or cashier or any other needed position at the request of Restaurant Supervisor and/ or Manager.
  • Helping in other departments when necessary.
  • Overtime, Holiday Work, rotating work schedule and work schedules other than Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
  • Obedience and respect to your Chain of Command.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino Internal Control Structure.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitized work area;
