About The Position
For more than 100 years, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. We are currently seeking part-time Vet Techs for our Animal Health Center. Candidates must have clinical experience and must possess and demonstrate excellent team player spirit, be able to multi-task, and show focus and follow through in a very busy, fun environment.
Requirements
- Clinical experience as a Vet Technician
- Experience with Fecals parasite identification
- Experience with Vaccinations
- Experience with Animal restrain
- Experience with Urinalysis
- Experience with Blood Draws
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs

Responsibilities
- Performing fecals parasite identification
- Administering vaccinations

Benefits
- 150.00 CE Reimbursement for CVT’s
- Sign-on bonus of $2,500 available (half paid after 90 days, half paid after 6 months employment)
