A Work-Fit Wellness Specialist is responsible for supporting current Work-Fit customers to exceed customer expectations by collaborating on the planning, organizing, communicating, developing, delivering, and measuring of Work-Fit services. A Wellness Specialist will contribute to the advancement of Work-Fit’s quality and compliance to support service growth and excellence. Wellness Delivery Establish relationships with key site stakeholders (Well Being Ops, Industrial Athlete team members, Industrial Athlete and Well Being Program Managers, Fitness team, Medical Clinic team, site leadership, Human Resource team, and Environmental, Health and Safety team) Promote Boeing Well Being (WB) programs following the annual planning calendar. Establish and maintain a regular staff/crew meeting presentation cadence. Keep stakeholders informed via meetings and email. Implement the central communications plan and supplement local opportunities. Collaborate with the local Industrial Athlete team to leverage the established factory relationships and processes. Use job conditioning cool-down time to introduce programs and suppliers. Maintain WB promotional boards with current program materials. Conduct on-site events and campaigns. Work with WB Ops to plan flu shot programs, screening events, and campaigns. Set up local events to emphasize programs (e.g., interactive displays in cafeterias). Work with site leadership to develop local incentive programs to promote awareness and usage. Support related programs as needed (e.g., Mother’s room usage, therapy dog events, on-site 5Ks, blood donation drives, benefits fairs, safety fairs, family day, etc.). Report on program metrics. Use HA data to identify local risks and program needs. Communicate issues and program plans to leaders and get their support. Report on targets, participation, survey data, and risk trends. Health & Fitness Delivery. Possible group fitness class delivery and instruction as approved. Invite participant feedback on classes and instructors. Communicate class availability, schedule, and changes. Overall Work-Fit Position duties: 1. Policy and Procedures 1. Maintains a safe, secure, and professional work environment by communicating and enforcing policies, procedures, and the expectations for the Work-Fit Employee Code of Conduct. 2. Ensures quality service by collaborating with site Leadership to understand, teach and enforce Work-Fit and Client organization Policy and Procedures. 3. Maintains and understands the Work-Fit and Client agreed upon Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual(s) which defines delivery of service at the specified client site(s). 4. Collaborates to advance SOP practices for continued quality and professional practice compliance. 1. Business Planning 1. Assists the Team Leader and/or Regional Lead with establishing strategic goals that match Work‐Fit services and resources to the needs of the customer. 2. Assists with Identifying and evaluating trends to create a unified vision to deliver Work‐Fit services. 3. Completes assignments from the Team Leader and/or Regional Lead to meet the strategic goals of the Program. 1. Program Measurement 1. Ensure that all Work-Fit service interactions are documented in the Work-Fit and client (if applicable) record management database (s) in accordance with all Work-Fit record management policies and quality practices. 2. Conducts quality reviews of record management practices and implements action plans to ensure continuous quality improvement. 3. Assists the Team Leader and/or Regional Lead in the development and review of Work-Fit scorecard(s) within the agreed upon guidelines with Client Leadership. 1. Professional Development 1. Remains current with all policies, credentialing and laws governing professional practice. 2. Advances professional and technical knowledge by completing educational workshops, obtaining advanced certifications, completing virtual courses, reviewing professional publications, establishing strategic networks, collaborating with other professionals, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. 1. Delivery of Work-Fit Services 1. Makes health personal through the delivery of the agreed Scope of Services to the customer in accordance with the SOP. 2. Assists in the establishment of Best Practice sharing and implementation practices throughout Work-Fit. 1. Customer Relations 1. Integrates with the customer and participates in client meetings and on client committees as delegated by the Team Leader and/or Regional Lead. 1. Professional Development 1. Remains current with all policies, credentialing and laws governing professional practice. 2. Advances professional and technical knowledge by completing educational workshops, obtaining advanced certifications, completing virtual courses, reviewing professional publications, establishing strategic networks, collaborating with other professionals, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. 1. Program Marketing 1. Assists the Team Leader and/or Regional Lead in the development of a marketing plan for the integration and advancement of Work‐Fit services. 2. Develops and delivers marketing materials and presentations. 3. Creates a culture of proactivity and personal health responsibility through the development, distribution, delivery and posting of educational materials utilizing available client distribution/posting resources. 1. Facility/Office Management 1. Ensures that the security of sensitive records (hard copy and computerized) is always maintained. 2. Maintains a work area that is neat, clean, and organized. 3. Maintain safe, clean, and neat areas for the delivery of Work-Fit services. 4. Maintains office equipment in safe working order. 1. Additional Duties and Projects Assigned
