About The Position

WebMD Health Services (WHS) is a division of WebMD whose mission is to provide expert guidance that inspires people to take charge of their health. We do this by helping people understand their health risks, make smart health care decisions, and take active steps toward living healthier lives. Our health, well-being and dedicated services power programs from employers, health plans and government organizations and are delivered online, onsite, and telephonically. The Well-being Program Manager (PM) will work collaboratively with the designated client’s health promotion team and WebMD account team to raise awareness of the onsite programs and the WebMD products and services that enable it. This position is primarily onsite, with travel to other local locations required up to 25% of the time. The PM plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy. They provide strategic guidance, support program planning, assess impact, and oversee service coordination and promotion. Proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancement and improvement, PMs collaborate with Client Services, Account, and Product Management teams to refine processes and develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in health promotion, health communications, and/or population health management.

Requirements

BA / BS in health-related field required
Minimum of 5 years of wellness coordinating, or similar client facing experience required
Excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, budgeting, and computer skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must implement and act in accordance with the organization’s information security policies; protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference; execute security processes or activities; and report security events or potential events or other security risks to the appropriate parties within the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and grow the Wellness Champion Network in partnership with the South Carolina based Well-being Program Manager.
Plan and execute onsite events, including health fairs and local wellness initiatives.
Lead weekly meditation sessions, stretch breaks, and other onsite wellness activities.
Coordinate and lead onsite flu clinics, biometric screenings and blood pressure checks.
Partner with the onsite fitness center manager to plan and lead wellness events.
Coordinate and lead well-being meetings, webinars, and internal/external communications.
Collaborate with employee resource groups to promote health and wellness programs.
Build relationships to drive support from key stakeholders.
Develop tailored recommendations for well-being initiatives.
Support program evaluation, performance reviews, and wellness strategy development.
Manage ongoing wellness programs and promotional events.
Develop and maintain schedules to ensure the effective execution of health education programs.
