About The Position

Spring Arbor of Crossville is looking for a dedicated Wellness Nurse (LPN) to support our residents' health and well-being on the overnight shift. This role involves supervising the delivery of care and services to residents, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, and maintaining ongoing communication with residents, families, associates, and third-party providers. The Wellness Nurse will also provide daily supervision and leadership to non-licensed associates, make work assignments, and assist in identifying and correcting problem areas to improve care and services. This position offers a supportive team environment and meaningful work in senior living.

Requirements

  • Active LPN license
  • Nursing experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise delivery of care and services to residents.
  • Perform procedures within the guidelines of all state and local regulations and accepted standards of care.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, professional consultants, and third-party providers.
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel.
  • Monitor the condition of residents.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications.
  • Supervise the continuity of resident care.
  • Respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs.
  • Perform first aid as required.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
