About The Position

Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Corp. is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join their community at New Horizons Marlborough, an upscale retirement community. This role involves meeting the care needs of assisted living and independent residents within a non-profit organization dedicated to helping seniors embrace healthy aging. The Wellness Nurse will work under the direction of the Resident Care Director, supervising and directing staff, assisting with nursing responsibilities, and overseeing the SAMM Program (Self-Administered Medication Management).

Requirements

• Current nurse’s license.
• Competency in supervising staff with leadership experience.
• Competency in observing for any change in residents’ needs.
• Competency in overseeing personal care needs.
• Competency in establishing and implementing plans to meet needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Attends continuing education courses as required.
• Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Must present self in a professional manner.
• Must display genuine concern for elderly and professionalism in dealing with others.

Responsibilities
