Wellness Nurse - RN or LPN
About The Position

This role involves overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care. The Wellness Nurse takes full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying recognized nursing standards. They are responsible for recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Additionally, the role includes instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse – RN license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
