About The Position

The Victorian Assisted Living Residence in Chatham is seeking a Per-Diem Wellness Nurse to join our vibrant team of healthcare professionals. As our Wellness Nurse (RN or LPN) you will have a flexible schedule and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our residents’ lives - supporting the Resident Services Director with the overall implementation, delivery and coordination of nursing services in the facility. Flexible Schedule: · Shifts are 9am - 3pm – this schedule is flexible and customizable based on your own needs, your work-life balance is our priority.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts
• Previous clinical experience preferred
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members

Responsibilities

• Supervising the direct care givers to ensure quality care is provided at all times
• Supervising the medication program and assisting the residents with self-administration of medications as appropriate
• Completing assessments, service plans, treatments, etc.
• Ensuring a positive resident experience
• Communicating proactively with residents, families, staff, and outside providers
