About The Position

Heights Crossing, an assisted living and memory support community in Brockton, Massachusetts, is hiring a Wellness Nurse for its Memory Care neighborhood. The Wellness Nurse assists the Resident Care Director with managing, directing, and developing a comprehensive care program for community residents. The role also assists with training and managing CNAs and serves as a liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and care providers. This is a part-time position with a scheduled shift from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM every other weekend. Pay starts at $35 per hour.

Requirements

Current, valid Massachusetts license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
At least one year of experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and physicians.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents, with or without assistance.
