About The Position

The Wellness Nurse provides personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents. The role includes administering or assisting with medication in accordance with each resident’s Care Plan, checking on residents’ wellbeing, and communicating changes in condition or Care Plan. The nurse also collaborates with the Health Services Director to assess and document resident assessments at state- or Brightview-specified intervals, while inspiring and supporting the team.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Practical/Vocational Nurse.
• At least one year of experience in assisted living, hospice, home health, acute care, or long-term care.
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care, assistance, support, and companionship to residents.
• Administer or assist with medication according to the Resident Care Plan.
• Engage residents while checking on their wellbeing and communicate changes in condition or Care Plan.
• Collaborate with the Health Services Director in assessing and documenting resident assessments at state- or Brightview-specified intervals.
• Inspire the team.
