About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and diligent Wellness Nurse to join our team at The Summit Senior Living in Little Rock, Arkansas. This part-time position offers a competitive starting wage of $28.00-$35.75 per hour and a specific shift schedule of Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 1:30 pm. As a Wellness Nurse, you will be a vital part of our team, leading by example in medication passing, assisting residents with personal care, and completing paperwork. You will also be responsible for accurate and efficient documentation of resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents, ensuring all are filed correctly. Requirements

  • Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulation.
  • Experienced in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
  • Ability to communicate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and community staff.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team by example when passing medications, assisting residents with personal care, and completing paperwork.
  • Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
  • Ensure each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
  • Maintain and update effective service plans.
  • Supervise care staff.
