About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Wellness Nurse Manager for Vitalia Active Adult Community at Solon. This role involves supervising the Wellness team and other departments in the absence of department heads, providing direct resident care, and ensuring efficient and accurate documentation. Requirements

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the state of employment.
  • Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
  • Assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
  • Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs of a resident first.
  • Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
  • Exemplify the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
