About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a PRN Wellness Nurse Manager for Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow. This role involves supervising the building in the absence of department heads, actively participating in and leading the Wellness team, and assisting other departments to ensure prompt, reliable, and person-centered care. The position requires demonstrating a sense of urgency to meet resident needs, accurately completing and filing resident assessments and medical records, and exemplifying core values through professional and compassionate interactions. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, a strong understanding of care standards, regulations, and medication laws, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment
Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law
Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
Positive and energetic attitude
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
Resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents should be completed accurately and efficiently, and filed correctly.
