LPN Nurse Manager $31.50-$39 6pm-6am (Part-Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Wellness Nurse Manager to join our team at Hudson Grande Senior Living. This part-time role offers a competitive starting wage of $31.50-$39.00 per hour and involves a Thursday 6pm-6am shift. As a Wellness Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising the building in the absence of department heads, leading the Wellness team, and ensuring person-centered care is provided. You will also be a supportive presence on the floor, assisting with resident needs and demonstrating a sense of urgency. Accurate and efficient documentation of resident assessments and medical records is essential, as is exemplifying the core values of Arrow Senior Living through professional, caring, and compassionate interactions with residents.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment
- Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents!
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
- Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
- Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
- Resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents should be completed accurately and efficiently, and filed correctly.
