About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse Manager to join our team at Hudson Grande. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality of person-centered care for our residents. The Wellness Nurse Manager will act as a supervisor in the absence of department heads, lead the Wellness team, and collaborate with other departments to provide quick and reliable care. A key aspect of this role is being actively involved on the floor, assisting with resident needs, and demonstrating a sense of urgency. Accurate and efficient documentation of resident assessments and medical records is essential. The ideal candidate will exemplify Arrow's core values, ensuring every resident interaction is professional, caring, and promotes a sense of safety and well-being.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
- Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hands-on care of memory impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as it is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
- In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
- Be active in the department, assisting and leading the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
- Be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance from the team, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs, great or small, of a resident first.
- Resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents should be completed accurately and efficiently, and filed correctly.
- Exemplify the core values at the heart of Arrow, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
- Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
