About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse Manager to join our team at Boulevard St Peters. This full-time role involves leading and supporting the Wellness team, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for residents. The position requires a proactive approach to supervision, hands-on care, accurate documentation, and embodying the core values of Arrow Senior Living. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a genuine love for working with residents.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within state of employment.
• Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and perform two-person transfers.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hands-on care of memory-impaired residents is preferred.
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building.
• Assist and lead the Wellness team and other departments in ensuring quick, reliable, and person-centered care is provided.
• Be available to help with call lights and requests for assistance from the team.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts the needs of a resident first.
• Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
• Provide direct (hands-on) nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
• Ensure each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and ends with the resident feeling safe and cared for.
