About The Position

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This role focuses on providing warm and engaging personal care services, medication administration, and monitoring resident well-being. The LPN will collaborate with the Wellness Director and Assistant Wellness Director, assess residents, and document care plans. Requirements

Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
Current state license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident.
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
Stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
Lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs.
Use proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years’ experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias.

Responsibilities

Provide warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship.
Administer or assist with medication for residents according to the Resident Care Plan.
Engage residents while checking on their well-being and communicate changes in condition or Care Plan.
Inspire your team and collaborate with the Wellness Director and Assistant Wellness Director in assessing and documenting resident assessments at state or Retirement Unlimited specified intervals.
