About The Position

Revitalize Wellness Nurse St. Camillus – Where Wellness, Purpose, and Compassion Come Together Are you passionate about helping older adults thrive and live their best lives? St. Camillus is seeking a compassionate and innovative Wellness Nurse to join our Independent Living team. This unique role blends nursing expertise, wellness programming, resident engagement, and healthy aging initiatives to help residents maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) will also be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergency situations.

  • Experience working with older adults or within a senior living community.
  • Passion for wellness, healthy aging, fitness, education, and resident engagement.
  • Experience developing programs and supporting quality-of-life initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support wellness initiatives using the Six Dimensions of Wellness framework.
  • Conduct resident consultations, wellness assessments, and blood pressure screenings.
  • Develop innovative wellness, fitness, educational, and enrichment programs.
  • Monitor resident wellness trends and identify measurable outcomes that support successful aging.
  • Assist prospective and new residents during the transition process.
  • Collaborate with families, residents, community partners, universities, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support infection prevention efforts and emergency preparedness initiatives.
  • Assist residents through changing care needs and transitions to higher levels of support when necessary.
  • Serve as a trusted health and wellness resource for residents and their families.
