About The Position

The Wellington at Arapaho, a 43-apartment assisted and independent senior living community located in the Richardson, TX area, is seeking a dedicated RN, LPN, or LVN Wellness Nurse Director. This role is for an individual passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors and guiding a team that delivers personalized care. The position will have a wellness coordinator support position to assist with scheduling and day-to-day operations of the nursing department.

Requirements

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
• A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
• Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
• Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
