About The Position

John Knox Village is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and team-oriented Wellness LPN to join our award-winning community! Position Summary The Wellness LPN is responsible for providing clinical support, emergency triage, and ongoing wellness assessments for residents throughout the John Knox Village community. This position assists in promoting resident independence, managing employee incidents and injuries, and ensuring a safe, healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The Wellness LPN serves as a trusted healthcare resource while delivering care with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Previous experience in one or more of the following settings preferred: Long-Term Care, Short-Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Healthcare Facility Environment
  • Passion for working with older adults and supporting successful aging.
  • Strong assessment and clinical observation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and resident-centered care.
  • Professional, compassionate, and dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and uphold ethical nursing standards.

Nice To Haves

  • IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency triage and nursing assessment services for residents as needed.
  • Conduct ongoing wellness evaluations to support resident independence and quality of life.
  • Monitor resident health status and identify changes that may require intervention or additional care.
  • Provide appropriate nursing care and follow-up based on resident needs and established protocols.
  • Assist with the management and documentation of employee incidents and workplace injuries.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate residents and families regarding wellness initiatives, health concerns, and available resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a safe and healthy environment throughout the community.
  • Support resident-centered care initiatives while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.
