About The Position
The Donelson-Hermitage YMCA is looking for a part-time Wellness Floor Attendant. This role involves being the first point of contact for members in the Wellness Center, assisting them with equipment, recommending wellness programs, and providing encouragement. The attendant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their wellness goals.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR Pro/AED and First Aid within 30 days of hire
- YMCA wellness and safety certifications within 90 days
Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service or fitness experience is a bonus
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for healthy living
Responsibilities
- Greet members in the Wellness Center.
- Help members feel confident and comfortable with their workouts.
- Guide members on proper equipment use.
- Recommend wellness programs.
- Offer encouragement to members.
- Ensure the space stays clean, safe, and welcoming.
Benefits
